This artwork is based off the cryptid "Old Green Eyes" who is said to haunt the Chickamauga Battlefield, originally drawn by the devastation from the battle for Snodgrass Hill during the American Civil War. Descriptions of the cryptid vary, but all sources cite its glowing green eyes and the terror they bring 👀
